Rava Upma
Ingredients
- Rava
- Ghee
- Mustard
- Cumin
- Chana dal
- Urad dal
- Cashew
- Onion
- Green chilli
- Ginger/Garlic
- Curry Leaves
Directions
- Roast rava in ghee or dry, till aroma comes. don’t let it turn brown
- Remove the rava and let it cool in a container
- Add Oil or ghee to a pan and start heating it up
- Add Mustard seeds and wait till it crackles
- Add cumin to the pan
- Add chana dal and urad dal wait for it to brown
- Add cashews and let the dal turn golden
- Now add finely chopped onion and let it saute till it becomes transparent
- Add chopped green chilli, finely chopped ginger and curry leaves and let it saute
- Add water to the pan
- Add salt to taste
- Once water is boiling add rava
