Potato Curry

Ingredients

  • Potato
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Pattai(Cinnamon)
  • Lavangam(Cloves)
  • Perunjeeragam
  • Elai(Basil leaves)
  • Curry Leaves
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Green Chilli

Directions

  1. First boil the potato and peel the skin off
  2. Add oil to the saute pan and season it with Cinnamon, Cloves, Fennel, Curry Leaves.
  3. Add Onion to the pan and saute it.
  4. Add slit green chilli to the onion and continue cooking.
  5. Add one tomato (the tomato should be minimal) otherwise the dish can be tangy.
  6. Add turmeric and salt and add water to the pan.
  7. Wait for it to come to a boil.
  8. Add the cooked and smashed potato the pan and let it boil.
