Pepper Chicken
Ingredients
- Pepper powder – 1 spoon
- Fennel powder – 1 spoon
- Cumin powder – 1 spoon
- Onion – 3 big
- Green Chilli – 4
- Red Chilli – 2
- Cut chicken
- Turmeric Powder – pinch
- Ginger Garlic – 2 spoons
Directions
- The masala is equal parts of fennel, pepper and cumin powder. It can be freshly ground for better results.
- Add oil to the pan.
- Once it is hot add cardamom, clover, cinnamon and biriyani leaf and couple of red chilli pepper.
- Add onion to the pan and saute it till it is brown.
- Add a couple of split green chilli, ginger garlic 2 spoons, turmeric powder a pinch and curry leaves.
- Keep sauteing it.
- Add chicken to the pan. Mix till all the masala coats the chicken.
- Now add the fennel, cumin and pepper powders to the pan.
- Add salt.
- Mix it till the chicken is coated with all the masala in the pan.
- Cover and cook. Add as little water as possible.
- Open intermittently to check nothing is burning at the bottom, stir and cover to cook.
