Chicken Varuval

To Fry and Grind

  1. cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, fennel seeds, poppy seeds, red chilli (if available coconut)
  2. Dry fry the above items and grind it to coarse powder

Cooking

  1. Chop the onion and saute them till it is transparent
  2. add ginger garlic, turmeric, salt and chicken to the onion and fry
  3. Add a little bit of tomato, slit green chilli and keep cooking
  4. Add the ground powder from the above steps to the pan
  5. Add chilli powder and coriander powder to the pan.(mom’s sambhar powder works too).
  6. Add curry leaves
  7. Add cilantro once it is done
  8. Keep adding water till it is fully cooked and the final product should be little bit dry
