Pressure cook the soaked yellow pattaani upto ten whistles (10 minutes in instant pot, turn OFF, and NPR).
Heat oil in kadaai and add onions and fry till they turn transparent.Then add tomatoes, Slit green chillies and curry leaves and fry in medium heat for couple of minutes. Mash the tomatoes well.
To this, add red chilly powder, soambu powder, pepper powder, Turmeric powder, garam masala powder and cumin powder. Mix well. Add around half cup of water and cook well for two more minutes. This should be slightly in watery consistency and hence required you can add some more water too.
Now add some Coriander powder and salt.
Add the cooked peas and mix. Let it boil.
Add a pinch of sugar to the sundal. Before serving add just one r two tbsp of green chutney and mix well.
