Potato Curry
Ingredients
- Potato
- Onion
- Tomato
- Pattai(Cinnamon)
- Lavangam(Cloves)
- Perunjeeragam
- Elai(Basil leaves)
- Curry Leaves
- Turmeric
- Salt
- Green Chilli
Directions
- First boil the potato and peel the skin off
- Add oil to the saute pan and season it with Cinnamon, Cloves, Fennel, Curry Leaves.
- Add Onion to the pan and saute it.
- Add slit green chilli to the onion and continue cooking.
- Add one tomato (the tomato should be minimal) otherwise the dish can be tangy.
- Add turmeric and salt and add water to the pan.
- Wait for it to come to a boil.
- Add the cooked and smashed potato the pan and let it boil.
