Chicken Gravy Dry

Ingredients for marinate

  • Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – enough for taste
  • Curry Leaves – 5 to 6
  • Chicken – Thigh pieces – 2 lbs

Marinate

Mix the ingredients for the marinate well and let it marinate for minimum 1 hour or overnight in a closed container

Ingredients for Cooking

  • Onion – finely sliced 2 number
  • Green Chilli – 5 to 6 number
  • Fennel Powder – 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 1 to 2 tsp
  • Oil – 3 tsp
  • Cinnamon – 1 inch
  • Cloves – 5
  • Star Anise – 1
  • Cardamom – 6
  • Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

Add oil to the pan.
Add Cinnamon, Cloves, Star Anise, Cardamom and Fennel Seeds to the pan and fry them.
Add Green chillis to the pan and keep frying
Add onion to the pan and keep frying
Add marinated chicken to the pan and saute them for 5 minutes
Close the pan with the lid and cook till the chicken is completely cooked.
Open the lid add 1 tsp of fennel powder and keep cooking
Added lemon juice to the mix and keep cooking
